Membership on the American Gospel Music Directory is open to any Gospel group, Soloist, Christian publication, Church, Christian organization, Christian-oriented business or Ministry.

Our goal in creating these websites is to create a complete sampling of Gospel Music Groups in the USA. We will then make this information available to the rest of the world here on the web. Through this site, we are creating a comprehensive resource to serve the entire country's Gospel Music Groups. Think of it as a Gospel Music Association of the internet. If you are a member of the Christian music community, we invite you to become a member of our site now.

Having your group, publication or business displayed on our site will help your ministry to reach a much greater audience at far less cost than other methods of getting your message out. By adding the internet address for your page (http://www.americangospel.com/yourgroupname) to your mailings and communications, people in your local area can get updated schedules and information about your latest recordings. People in other parts of the country can listen to a sample of your music and order your recordings. They can share in your testimonies or contact you about ordering your publications or products. If you travel extensively, they can see when you may be coming to their area to sing. The use of the web is growing daily. We have created a very inexpensive way for you to let our ministry help you minister.
The Details

If you already have a site you want to add the link to our directory...
If you already have a group website of your own on another server, the fee is $5.00 per year for us to add a link on our directory page directly to your website. If you are linking to a business website, the fee is $15.00 per year. Send a completed application form and check for you first year's dues. After we receive the application and payment, we will review your site. The link will be added the next time we update the directory.
This could take anywhere from one day to two weeks before your link appears on the directory page.

If you do not have a web site and need a page built...
Our membership fee is only $50.00 per year, plus a one-time page set-up fee of only $25.00, payable when your site materials and membership form are submitted for inclusion on our site. The set-up fee includes scanning pictures, making a sound clip, adding text and other graphics and posting the site on our directory. There are no other charges or fees. Payment may be by check, money order or credit cards.

What kind of site will I get if Americangospel.com builds it...
The site we build for you is based on a quick loading, single page, easy to follow format we have established for our sites. People get your pictures and information quickly. Some sites on the web seem to take forever to load. Our sites load quickly and the information is presented in a way that is user-friendly. You can control your schedule yourself (see note below). You send us periodic updates to your bio or merchandise by email, and we post it on the site for you.

The following items are included in the page we create for you from the text and pictures you supply to us when you become a member:

  1. Full color group picture.
  2. Full description of your ministry, in your own words.
  3. Listing of group members with a short bio of each, if desired.
  4. Information on how to contact your group by mail, phone or e-mail for bookings.
  5. An appearance schedule for your group, you can update it yourself anytime.
  6. Information about the recordings you have available and how to order them.
  7. E-mail links to your e-mail account (if you have one).
  8. MP3 audio clip from one of your recordings (40 to 60 seconds maximum)
  9. All page design and hosting on our server.
  10. A comprehensive stats/counter program for your page like this one.
  11. An easy to remember internet address that you can publish to give people direct access to your page, for example: http://www.americangospel.com/yourgroupname
  12. Worldwide promotion of your ministry and recordings available to anyone with internet access.
  13. No annoying advertising for anything on your site!!!!!!! (Unlike Tripod, Geocities and Angelfire)

For example, see this page!
They update their site from a simple, password-protected panel consisting of 4 blanks. There are instructions right on the input page. Just fill in the blanks (date, starting time, details and city, state) then press the "Add" button, and that date is on your schedule in the right chronological order, instantly! You also have another panel to go in and delete dates form your schedule with the push of a button. This is now standard on all new web pages we build.

We will make reasonable updates to your page, upon request, for no additional cost. This includes updating your bio, band photo or whatever changes are needed to keep the information current. You can mail us these changes or E-mail them to us and we will make the changes as soon as we get them.

All you have to do to have us build you a site is:

1. Print out and fill in the membership form or use the online membership form and payment page.
2. Get the items mentioned above, such as picture, bio, schedule, etc. 
3. Mail all of the above items and a check for $75.00, payable to Todd J Wilkins, to:

    OR mail the materials then go to this page to pay by Visa, Mastercard, Am Express, or Discover.

That's all there is to it. We do the rest. We will notify you when the site is online for approval.
