Our Mission: to exalt God (Psalms 95:6&7), to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through Word and song (Ephesians 5:19&20), to see souls won into the kingdom of God (Matthew 28:19&20), and to encourage and uplift our brothers and sisters in the Lord (Ephesians 3:14-21).

Scripture: Psalms 149:6 (KJV), "Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two edged sword be in their hand." As the scripture indicates, we have praise in our hearts and on our lips and a two edged sword, the Word of God, in our hands.

High Praise Ministries consists of my husband James and myself. We have two grown children James Jr. and Ginger and eight grandchildren. We currently reside in Conroe, Texas and are the senior pastors at Faith Assembly of God. We also minister and sing wherever we are invited.

Our desire is to lift up the name of Jesus, to bring glory and honor to His name for He is worthy of all honor and glory and praise. Our aim is to reach the unreached and introduce them to Jesus. Not everyone will enter the church doors, but we can find ways to take the gospel to them. We live in such a fast-paced world that many people become discouraged and, without even realizing it, lose their time alone with God. We purpose in our hearts to be encouragers to the family of God, to be His hand extended.

James has a strong anointing in his life to minister the gospel in Word. He has a heart of worship and a mighty desire to see souls brought into the kingdom of God. One of his passions is to see Christians grow and mature in their walk with the Lord. He also plays bass guitar.

I, Debra, am a preacher's kid. I have been singing gospel music since childhood. Music has always been a vital part of my life. I sing mostly Southern and Country Gospel music. I believe gospel music touches the lives of people who would never listen to a sermon. For a number of years, my husband and I traveled with The Faith Singers, later known as The Gospel Envoys, and The Victorious Gospel Singers.

We are committed to spreading the gospel through Word and song. Our prayer is that lives will be touched and changed through this ministry.
