Jon Evans is a singer/songwriter residing in Brattleboro, Vermont. He has been singing in church choirs since he was a young man. Jon performs a variety of gospel genres as well as traditional hymns.

He loves Southern and Country Gospel and most of his selections are of that genre. Some of his favorites are Bill Gaither's Because He Lives, Amazing Grace from John Newton and Geron Davis' Holy Ground. Jon's latest songwriting effort is an upbeat piece entitled Sharing The Love of Jesus.

His strong baritone voice is complimented by his quiet presence as he skillfully blends music and testimony for his audiences. What are people saying about Jon? Jon travels mostly around New England performing in churches, meeting halls, retirement and nursing homes in Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. As his music ministry grows, so do his travels however and he will be performing this May at the America Bless God concert in Cloverdale, IN.

Jon travels with a four-legged companion, certified assistance dog for the ministry Lynks. Lynks was trained for his work in ministry by the N.E.A.D.S. organization in Princeton, MA. More information on assistance dogs can be found at their website at www.neads.org.
