Brenda Chamberlin

Raised on a family dairy farm in rural west central Pennsylvania, Brenda spent her evenings in the barn with her parents and five siblings. She enjoyed listening to and singing along with the radio as her parents milked. However, being terribly shy, Brenda didn't sing in public until the age of seventeen when she performed in a school talent show. She then began singing at local fairs, banquets, and malls.

After graduation, Brenda attended Malone University for a year then decided to move to Nashville, TN to explore the world of country music. It was there that Brenda first felt the calling to sing gospel music.

Brenda grew up in the church and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1999 at the age of sixteen. She, however, struggled to find God’s calling for her life. Brenda loved singing country music, but a friend she met in Tennessee believed she was called to a higher purpose and encouraged her to sing gospel and inspirational country music.

In 2008, after two years in TN, Brenda moved back to PA to be closer to her family. She bought several gospel tracks and learned the songs and decided it was time to start using her voice for God. Her plans fell through as fear and insecurity set it.

Two years later, Brenda felt God tugging on her heart to take a step of faith and this time to trust Him to give her the courage and confidence to succeed. She made a sample cd, business cards, and a packet with information about her and sent them to local churches and nursing homes. After a few weeks calls came in and she began singing at churches, nursing homes, and various community events. This was not what Brenda had envisioned for her life, but all the more reason she truly feels called by God to use her voice for His glory.

Brenda sings a mixture of southern and country gospel as well as hymns and inspirational country. She has her own complete sound system and is available for concerts. Call or email for additional information.
