HE IS BEST KNOWN FOR WRITING THE LEGENDARY SONG "LEARNING TO LEAN". Gospel Music awarded this song the prestigious "Dove" award as America’s best gospel song in 1977. The song has taken its place as a standard and is called by publishers one of the few songs of "hymn quality" written in our generation. Other well known songs by John Stallings are: "Touching Jesus" Jimmy Swaggart's hit of the seventies, "Blessing After Blessing", "Love Grew Where The Blood Fell" popularized by the famous Speer Family, and "Jesus Now, More Than Ever". John is also composer of more than 100 gospel songs.

CALLED TO PREACH AT AGE 15, JOHN HAS SPENT NEARLY 20 YEARS IN EVANGELISM and has appeared numerous times on 700 Club and Channel 40 in Southern California. He is one of the founders of "FAMILY 55", an all Christian Television station in Orlando, Florida and served on the Founders Board for 8 years.

JOHN IS A VETERAN OF HUNDREDS OF REVIVALS, camp-meetings, seminars and conventions around the world and is known for his stirring and anointed preaching and singing.
