Mission
The purpose of Go Fish Music Ministries, a Bible based evangelical musical group, is to follow the words of Jesus in Matthew 4:19, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” We feel as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ we have been called to be fishers of men through music and testimony. Through the power of the Holy Spirit we pray that we will edify believers and encourage others to come to know Him as their personal Savior.

About Us
Go Fish is a Christian musical organization that includes a Praise Team and a Men’s Quartet. Go Fish consists of born again Christians aged twenty something through middle age. We have been blessed by God with varied musical gifts and use them in a variety of ways.

Wayne Lutz, our keyboard player, bass player and quartet bass was a college music major and professional musician. Originally a trombone player Wayne later took up the piano and is an excellent organist and bass player. Excelling in both vocal and instrumental music Wayne served as a church organist, keyboard player, and choir member for many years. He has been singing with Claude Cheeseman, our first tenor in both the praise team and quartet, for over thirty-five years. Both sang with the King’s Quartet that toured in the 1970’s. Claude has been involved in Christian music ministries for many years singing in quartets, church choirs, and praise teams. Young and old alike have enjoyed Claude’s distinctive tenor voice as he has served the Lord in song.

We have two husband and wife teams: Lynn and Nancy Johnson and Walt and Cynthia Martin. Lynn and Nancy Johnson have been involved in Christian music ministry for several years. Both were members of Disciples in Drama that toured the Delaware Valley in the late 1970’s and early 80’s. Lynn is a talented guitar, conga, and harmonica player. Nancy brings a broad range of college and adult experience in vocals, keyboards, and rhythm instruments. Walt, a gifted guitar player, has been active in Christian service at the college level and now serves through this ministry. Cynthia’s vocal and acting performances have been enjoyed on local and Christian college stages alike. Cynthia is both a soloist and an alto for the Praise Team. Walt and Cynthia have had a recent addition, Cole, to their family. Cynthia also happens to be Wayne’s daughter.

Jeremy Merki, a talented high school student, is our full time drummer. Jeremy is active in his local church and school music programs. Calvin and Brandon Cobb, father and son, round out the group. Both sing in the praise team and the quartet. Brandon adds the trumpet on some selections. Brandon was active in college ministries and music programs. Calvin has been active in a variety of Christian music ministries for many years. Both have also been seen on several South Jersey stages in musical theater productions.

What We Believe and Share
As an outreach of Millville’s Church of the Nazarene, we share that the Bible is God’s Holy Word. We believe it is the infallible Word of God revealing to the world the Holy Trinity. We believe the stories it contains and the directions it gives are still essential for the world today. We believe that Jesus is the only way to Salvation and He is our reason for singing. During the services we share contemporary Christian praise and worship music with a touch of contemporary Southern Gospel. We charge no fee, but we ask for a love offering to cover our expenses.
